Run by John and Claudia, they import speciality coffees from the Planadas municipality in Tolima, central-western Colombia. We have wanted to work some some of their special microlots for a while now and this, along with the new Colombian El Diamanté produced by her brother, is definitely special. Grown and processed by Jasbleidy Vaquiro Mendoza, she has a small 3 hectare farm with 2.5 hectares of coffee trees. As the sister of Wilson and Robinson, who lead quality control and sourcing of green coffee for The Green Collection, coffee and quality go hand in hand and is part of her DNA. With some support from her brothers, this is an expectedly high quality coffee and full of flavour.
